Hello Beauties! Yesterday I attended a Happy Hour hosted by the Minnesota Blogger Bash (MBB). I previously attended an event hosted by them back in December 2016, and was invited to their March 2017 Pop-Up Shop but I wasn’t able to make that one.
The December event was more of an expo of sorts and obviously their pop-up shop was more of a shopping and testing event. This one though, was explained as a Happy Hour.
The invite details stated that the Happy Hour would be held at Can Can Wonderland in St. Paul and that this was a 21+ event by invitation only. Considering I had never been to Can Can Wonderland and all guests were able to bring a +1, Erick and I decided to go.
Now I gotta to tell you, Can Can Wonderland is in the outskirts of St. Paul and in a somewhat sketchy location but, the actual place is magical. Its circus meets old school diner vibes and truly one of the most unique spots I’ve been to.
Even though, I’ve only been to one other event hosted by MBB, I really liked this Happy Hour style better. There was giveaways, networking opportunities, goodie bags, MN vendors and small businesses, food and of course cocktails. MBB also had Amazing Scott, a balloon artist who is truly talented! He made so many cool balloon things and the details were impeccable! Unlike their last event I attended, there was just so much to do at the event that there wasn’t that awkward “okay…now what moment.”
Can Can Wonderland totally helped with that too. The venue is a restaurant, has old school arcade games, 2 bars, popcorn machine, stage and dancing area and mini golf too! As part of the MBB we got free mini golf games, popcorn (which you know I was all up on that), specialty made cocktails and we got to try Can Can’s new pizzas, which might I add were hot fire. Seriously….every single pizza was delicious!
Overall, I think MBB really knocked it out of the park with this one! It as such a fun event. Can’t wait for the next one! And if you’ve never visited Can Can Wonderland, I highly recommend you do it!
