Hello Beauty Babes. Recently Sephora had their Spring VIB sale where VIB Rouge members and VIB members got 15% off their entire purchase. If you are a beauty follower or lover you’ll know this sale only comes around 2 times a year. Once in the spring and once in the fall where you get 20% off your entire purchase.
This is the perfect time to pick up those pricey pieces or try out some products that caught your eye, all while saving some money and not feeling as guilty. This season I’m kind of surprised that I didn’t actually get that much stuff, though I did manage to pick up a couple things. Call it self-control or just being blessed that I already have a wonderful collection, either way my credit card was happy.
So here’s what I got:
Marc Jacobs ReMarcable Foundation: My goodness this was a pricey purchase, but if you know me, you know that this was something that was bound to happen. I had seen so many YouTubers rave about this product for months and tons of people mention how full coverage it was. Being a full coverage kind of girl and after hearing everyone’s stamp of approval, I thought I should give it a go. And what better time than during a sale?!
MILK Makeup Blur Stick: This was actually something that had been on my wish list ever since I saw the first sneak peek months ago. I don’t have particularly sensitive or troublesome skin but I do have large pores near my under eyes and on my nose. So anything that promises smooth skin while covering and blurring out pores is definitely something I’m interested in. I also liked how it came in a stick form. Very travel friendly and mess free.
NARS Soft Matte Concealer: Now I gotta say, that normally I am not into pot concealers, so when I saw this released I was sure it was going to be a total pass for me. It wasn’t until I heard a handful of my friends rave about this, then of course, other YouTubers started raving about this that I was really intrigued. For a while I had also wanted to try the Anastasia concealer for my brows and as an eyeshadow base so I figured instead of getting that one, I could get this one to use for my under eyes, brows, and base if it was really as good as everyone said.
Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Foundation: This was an essential repurchase of mine. I had purchased this same foundation last year during the sale and totally fell in love with it. It gives you a good medium coverage that can easily be built to full coverage without looking cakey, tacky, or feeling heavy on the skin. I actually still have some left in my old bottle but with summer coming up I wanted to get a tanner shade to mix in or to use instead. If you haven’t tried this one, I highly recommend it.
Did you guys pick up anything during the sale? Have you tried any of these?
