Hi beauties! Out of all the must have summer accessories (as you might have guessed), mine is hands down a good pair of sunglasses. I just love the uniqueness and versatility of a good shade and on no makeup days, I like that they are face blockers too.
“Born in Minnesota, Lifted Optics is a new brand of eyewear formed by a couple of entrepreneurs that love to celebrate the active lifestyle of the Upper Midwest. We wanted to bring you a new and exciting style of polarized sunglasses, without costing you an arm and a leg.” – Lifted Optics
If you saw my last post, you know that I stressed to you that a good pair of sunglasses doesn’t have to come at a huge price. And considering that Lifted Optics currently carries three different lines to choose from with colorful and unique styles all under $100 each, I’d say Lifted Optics has done just that. You have the classic line that carries three styles of sunglasses for $29 each, the lifted line which also carries three styles of sunglasses for $49 each, and lastly the select line with two styles of sunglasses for $69 each.
Lifted Optics provided me with two styles to showcase to you guys, so let’s get into it.
The first pair we have comes from their Classic Line in the style Harriet with Ebony Wood. These are my personal favorite! Although I love that most of the sunglasses Lifted Optics carry can be worn by both men and women, the Harriets have a more feminine vibe to them since they have that pointed cat-eye effect to the frame. I also love how dark they are. The lens for this style come only in the smoke color but they make these glasses look so chic. Like the rest of their Classic Line these have an Acetate frame, wood arms, spring hinges, polarized lens, and the engraved Lifted logo on the wood arm. The Harriets also feature three different wood styles to pick from: the zebra wood (light), rose wood (medium/dark) and ebony wood (pictured).
The second pair we have comes from their Select Line in the style Sandy. These are probably the most unique in terms of color of lenses, arm styles and their rimless bottom. The Sandys only come with the natural bamboo arms and the mirrored green/blue lens. So mirrored and reflective in fact, it was hard to get a direct photo of them without seeing myself in the reflection with the camera LOL. These feature natural bamboo frames, metal hardware, spring hinges, polarized lenses and are sure to be the stand out accessory of any outfit.
Both pairs, though made with wood or bamboo arms, are sturdy enough where they won’t break but lightweight enough for your face. Stylish, affordable sunnies still not good enough for you? Well I should mention Lifted Optics gives back too. Seriously. For every pair of sunglasses purchased, the company donates to plant a new tree, because as the saying goes “Be Good. Do Good. Feel Good” or as Lifted Optics might say “Live. Life. Lifted.”
Currently, Lifted Optics is in the midst of funding their campaign to create these shades, but they need your help! To help get them started visit their Kickstarter and back the project for as little as $5! Pledge and get yourself a bamboo case with your order or choose other options available with big discounts on their products once they launch.
